Next U2 Album To Be “Futuristic and Sci-Fi”
U2 are currently working on a “futuristic” sounding follow-up to their 2009 effort ‘No Line On The Horizon’. According to RedOne, the producer of the as-of-yet untitled LP, the album will see U2 moving in a new direction and "going Sci-fi".

Noel Gallagher has rejected a substantial offer to replace Simon Cowell on the Judge’s panel in the next UK series of hit singing competition ‘The X Factor’. According to reports, the ex-Oasis singer was approached by Cowell with a ‘blank cheque’ offer, and was asked to ‘name his price’ to appear on the show.

Lady Gaga has unveiled behind-the-scenes video footage of herself preparing for a performance and confronting a homophobic religious protester. The video, which is part of the singer’s ‘Gagavision’ series sees Gaga (real name Stefani Germanotta) confront a protester after being handed a derisive “Get Out Of Hell Free” card.
Grammy Awards Set For Dramatic Overhaul
The Recording Academy, the body responsible for the annual Grammy Awards ceremony, has announced that they have made a number of major changes to the formatting of the Awards. The Academy have announced that they will be reducing the number of categories and also attempting to make gender less of a factor in future ceremonies.

Hercules and Love Affair, Atari Teenage Riot and Patrick Wolf have all been announced as the latest additions to the line-up of this year’s Springfestival in Graz, Austria. They will join the previously-confirmed acts including The Jungle Brothers, Crystal Fighters, Caribou and London Elektricity. Springfestival is an urban music event that mixes electronic music, workshops, showcases and culture. This year’s festival takes place 1st – 5th June.
